    How to use Kino with your Smart TV
    Step-by-step setup and troubleshooting

    1. Install Kino on your TV

    Install Kino either by searching for it in Google Play on your TV, or remotely by opening the Google Play page, clicking Install, selecting your TV device, and clicking Install again.

    2. Install Kino Controller on Mac

    Download Kino Controller for macOS and connect your Mac to the same Wi-Fi network as your TV.

    3. Pair automatically on local network

    Kino discovers your TV on local network and pairs without manual IP setup in most home networks.

    4. Upload, play and stream

    Upload videos from Mac, then play instantly on your TV. You can pause, seek, and manage files from Controller.

    Troubleshooting

    • Make sure both devices are on the same Wi-Fi network.
    • Reopen Kino on TV, then restart Kino Controller on Mac.
    • If needed, restart your router to refresh local discovery.
